Engagement
How we start
Your business is unique, and early work should reflect that. Most engagements begin with discovery: a short pass over constraints and options before any long build commitment.
Discovery
What early discovery covers
- A time-boxed pass over the problem, constraints, integrations, security needs, and success criteria.
- Clear outcomes: problem statement, options, risks, and a proposed first slice. Or a clear “not yet” if the fit is weak.
- No obligation to proceed to build. An enquiry is not a contract.
Scope
What we typically cover
- Current system and how people work today (what already runs)
- Data, identity, and integration boundaries
- Security and operate expectations if the work ships
- Whether KeytoZ stays after launch, and for what
- A plain-language recommendation: build, defer, or reshape
Boundaries
Boundaries
- Discovery is time-boxed. It is not an open-ended retainer by default.
- Commercial terms are agreed after we understand the brief. We do not publish a rate card.
- We design against your constraints. We do not replace your internal product ownership.
Path
After you reach out
You send a short brief
Problem, constraints, and how new work must fit systems you already run. Form or [email protected] is enough.
We reply within one business day
We confirm whether we are a fit, what we would need from you, and rough timing. Still optional.
Discovery, then a proposed path
If we proceed, we write down what we found and a recommended next step. Build starts when both sides agree to move.
FAQ
Common questions
- Is discovery always required?
- For new build work, yes in some form. Ongoing operate work on systems we already know may skip a formal pass.
- Do you publish a fixed price for discovery?
- No public price list. Commercial terms are agreed after we understand the brief.
- What if discovery shows a poor fit?
- We say so clearly. That is a useful outcome: better decisions without forcing a build.
